Cyta's National Wholesale Unit was introduced in April 2003, following the liberalisation of the Cyprus Telecommunications Market. From August 2010 and up to January 2020, the National Wholesale Unit became a semi-autonomous Business Strategic Unit of Cyta's National and International Wholesale Market Division and managed its National Wholesale Market activities.
Since February 2020, as part of the reorganization and implementation of the new structure in Cyta, the unit was upgraded to an autonomous Business Strategic Management Unit and renamed to National Wholesale Market. Also, has strengthened with new executives. It provides a single point of contact between Cyta and other National Alternative Telecommunications Providers in Cyprus, offering an extended portfolio of national wholesale products and services.
With proactive communication and strong management, the National Wholesale Market Management Unit co-operates with all national licensed service providers in order to assist them to grow their business in accordance with the regulatory framework.
